Frequently asked questions

CWIP is open to female engineering students currently in their 4th semester, from any branch or specialization, with no active backlogs. 

Your placement team will be intimated with the registration link, please reach out to them. For more information or any queries regarding this program, please contact us at support_cwip@cisco.com.

The CWIP process begins with registrations through your placement team in January. This is followed by an online assessment and interviews in February, after which results are announced. Offer letters and background verification take place in March. Selected students then complete a two‑month internship with Cisco from May to June.

There is no CGPA cut-off.

CWIP provides hands‑on skill development, industry exposure, mentorship from Cisco professionals, networking opportunities, personal growth, career insights, exclusive workshops, and a certificate of completion.

Yes. Cisco offers a range of internship opportunities. The Cisco Women Internship Program is designed for second‑year women engineering students, while our standard internship program continues to welcome applicants from across India and contributes to building an inclusive future for all.

This program is for a two-month internship only. 

This will be a completely in-person internship based out of our Bangalore campus.

Regardless of the outcome, all applicants can apply to any other open positions (current or future) at Cisco, after six months have passed.
